I'm selling my 86 firebird. It would make a great project car. It has the 2.8 v6 and 700R4 tranny. The engine runs great and the tranny shifts nice. The car gets great gas mileage. The firebird was originally white, and the previous owners painted the car red. There's quite a few places where the red has chipped, and white paint is showing through. The entire engine bay is white. There are hail dents on the hood and roof of the car. On the drivers side of the car behind the door, there is a large dent from when the car was t-boned during previous ownership - my bodyshop guy said the dent can be pulled out. The passenger side door has a long scrape on it from being backed into by a tahoe. The door has been replaced, but has a manual window. I'll throw in the power window motor with the car. The front and rear fender lips have some surface rust, but it is not serious rust. The quarters do not have any visible rust. There are a couple of rust boils on the front windshield pillars. The interior is in good shape outside of the headliner. I have pins holding it up. The carpet is in OK condition. The plastic trim is in excellent condition. It has a Jensen MP3 player, and all of the cables run to the back for a sub and amp. I'm not sure of the milage offhand right now. I have it written down on a notepad in the car. This is because I switched the gauges from the 85mph version to the 120 mph version. It has cold A/C. The front suspension was also rebuilt this summer, and I have the documentation for it. I've changed the oil every 3,000 miles on the car since I bought it in June. This car is reliable, and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country.
