I'd like to take it to a few events now that it's back together. I just got back from Memphis, TN where I raced it in the National F-body Motorsports Event. I even got me a trophy in the autocross!

It also did a best of 12.90 at 113.0 MPH in the drag races. Lousy 60 footers though, the street tires didnt like to hook up, and I couldnt manage anything better than a 2.1 second 60-foot time.

Your car should fit nicely into class BMT in the Detroit Council autocross series - its basically a "run what 'ya brung" class on street tires. We have a couple of third gens, assorted Mustangs and a few WRXs thrown in for good measure and the class is very competitive. DCSCC events are much more laid back than SCCA events - typically registration is at 10AM, 1st car off at 11AM and done by early afternoon.
There is also a Corvette club time trial at Waterford Hills on July 4th. http://www.corvetteclubmi.com/images/waterford05.pdf
