I just moved here to madison. I'm from central illinois and had to leave my favorite junk yard behind. Anyone know of any good one's here in southern Wisconsin? I'm mostly interested in the pull your own parts yards. If I have to I will drive back to illinois for 4 hours, but I'd rather not.

How far from Madison are you willing to go? There are quite a few around the Watertown, WI area which is about 50 miles due east of Madison. I don't recall any names or numbers right now, and I don't live there any more. But you should be able to find them. I did, just by driving around the countryside.

 

theres one east of watertown on 16. another out by sullivan on 18, one out side of fort atkinson on 26 and one in fort on 26, then theres one in whitewater cant remember where other then driving there.

There's a good one in Newville, WI on HWY 59. Take I-90 south to the Newville exit, go right towards Edgerton, about 3/4 mile on the right. Newville Auto Salvage.

There's another going the other direction on 59, towards Milton, back in the woods. Seward's Auto Salvage. Turn right on Vincent Rd from 59. It's kinda hard to see the road sign, though.
