Code38 for Sale....4 real this time!!!
So i had her posted up here last year and shot people a bunch of way high price quotes cause i really didn't want to get rid of her. The ol' lady wanted to see her go..... well the ol' lady's gone, and as some of you read in some of my other posts, I found the first Camaro I ever owned and I want to spend my time on her. I'm gonna be spending huge time and money on that car so I'm putting my girl up for sale for real this time.....
1991 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
93,xxx miles
5.7L L98
recent rebuild 700r4
red exterior with red leather interior. driver seat needs front panels repaired.
new radiator
recent tune up including distributor ignition module
engine bay is VERY clean
needs both rear tires... it got some huge applause at the HotRod Supernats in Spfld this year making this a nessecity
Factory option J65 brakes, with recent rebuild on rear calipers by Central Illinois Caliper Co, and new rotors and pads all around...
Factory G92 rear axle car
Power window, locks, mirrors, hatch pulldown motor works great.
What she needs.......
it needs the door pins replaced. it's 25 years old...it's time....
driver side needs new seat cover. i'm the 3rd owner of this car. 2nd owner had it for 3 years and for some reason let his dog in it a few times and it punctured holes in the leather, which has in turn ripped. Pass side and rears look great.
Rear tires....like pretty much all Camaros ever....
There is a short in the pass side power rearview mirror that pops the fuse for the interior lights and door locks. I meant to fix it this summer, but was busy at work on all of my weekends. Very easy fix.
Someone backed into front bumper cover AGAIN!!!!! the paint is cracked from the center nose emblem to the driver side headlight bucket AGAIN!!!!! I just paid to have a NOS GM cover put on the front LAST YEAR because it got backed into at the Super Chevy Show in INDY last year...the cover is very fixable, just needs sanded down and painted again IIRC.
A lot of people have seen this car and can attest that it is ALL GM. I have spend a lot of money getting it back that way. I've removed perfectly good aftermarket parts to put her back to stock. I know that sounds wierd, but this car is in good shape and I always wanted that factory look. It still has the true dual exhaust with no mufflers (loud) and I can attest that she will in fact go over 150mph for you speed freaks out there. The only thing that isn't for sale with the car is the name....Code38 stays with me.....
I'm open to all fair offers on the car and have quite a few pics if anyone needs anything in specific and can get pics of anything anyone else needs. I work nights, so my responses will be a day behind...sorry, built in delay... I'm looking to get $5,500 for her. Like I said, I'm open to fair offers and will consider anything thrown out there.
For you scammers out there, I work for the Sangamon County Sheriff's Office...don't even try it.....we will track you down!!

It makes me sad to see it, but she even looks good in the snow...
