1988 Firebird Formula 350 - Currie 9", lakewood, headman, etc.. ROLLING CHASSIS

Price is $2500 FIRM. JUst to let you know now, that I will NOT take any less that $2500 for the complete package. I think this is more than fair, basically you are buying the rear end and getting the car and parts for free. There is so much money in parts with this car, and parts that are not cheap either.....someone has to realize that and hopefully I find the right person that is looking for these parts and could use a package like this......now for the car information...

Car has been sitting with no engine/trans for a couple years. I bought it from California about 7 years ago and it is rust free. Interior is removed for the insallation of a roll cage which never was done. I do have every single interior piece and they go with the car.

1988 Firebird Formula 350. Clean title. 4-wheel disc brakes. P/W, P/L.

Below is a list of what comes with the car (anything else I find while digging all the parts out will go with the car too)

Currie enterprises 9" rear end with Detroit Locker and 4.11 gear.
Solid lower control arms
Air bags in the rear coil springs
Lakewood 50/50 rear drag shocks
Lakewood 90/10 fron drag shocks
Braided front brake hoses
Extra gear set 3.70 ring & pinion only
Headman Big Tube 1 7/8" headers with removable collectors. (brand New)Edelbrock T.E.S. 1 5/8" shorty headers
Y-pipe and 3" exhaust, gutted cat & f-body muffler
Dynomax Bullit exhaust with 18" of pipe and turn downs (brand new)
High torque mini starter
TH-350 (full manual valve body)
B&M megashifter
Dynotech 3" aluminum driveshaft
(2) 15x3.5 weld draglites
(1) 15x10 weld draglite (other went missing)
(8) Factory Formula wheels (1 set minues tires, other set has nitto tires)
Nitrous bottle heater
Nitrous blanket
Remote nitrous bottle opener
Lokar braided trans dipstick
Jaz racing bucket with seat cover and adjustable track (all brand new)
Window net and installation kit
Accel high volume EFI fuel pump
Optima yellow top(needs to be charged)
Weld in fuel tank sump (brand new)
A-pillar guage pod for 2 - 2 18" guages (should still have it laying around)
1LE a/c delete pulley & bracket
Should still have the serpentine setup
Should still have an alternator
All the old a/c stuff, condenser and such, comes with the car too
I dont think I have the heater stuff still, but I might

Nitrous controls are hidden in the center console. Bottle was hidden where the spare tire was mounted. Has a -10 AN line which is vented out of the tire well for the blow off vavle on the nitrous bottle. Battery is mounted in the rear and has a flaming river disconnect just above the plate.

Car pretty much just needs an engine and the trans put back in the car and go racing. Car was a 10 second car that I drove every day. Just needs to be cleaned up. Its been sitting for a couple years and it is very dirty, so keep that in mind when you see it. It will clean up, it will just take a short while cleaning the couple years of dirt off of white paint.....but it does clean up. Since these pictures were taken, I started cleaning the car, so its starting to look better as I have time to go out and clean it.

I am just outside of Detroit, Michigan.
I am not sure if I am ready to part it out yet. I guess it depends on what parts people are interested in. So goes the question, what parts are you interested in?

I am interested in the front shocks, racing seat and mini starter if it is for a 168 tooth flywheel.

and maybe if the rear end is priced right, but definately the first 3.

If you decide to part it out, I'd definatley be interested in this:
Dynotech 3" aluminum driveshaft

And maybe:
Headman Big Tube 1 7/8" headers with removable collectors. (brand New)

Let us know or PM me...

Re: 1988 Firebird Formula 350 - Currie 9", lakewood, headman, etc.. ROLLING CHASSIS

Well, the rear end from Currie costs $3365, so I would like to get $2000 for it. I have an extra gear set to go with it - 3.70 (not 3rd member, the the ring & pinion). And I can give my solid tubular lower control arms with it too.

-The headers are not 1 7/8" like I posted, they are 2" with a 3 1/2" collector. Part number 65180. Ill include my exhaust, which is 18" of 3" pip, a 3.5" bullit and a 3" turn down. Each side is identical. Have to get $650 for those.
-Driveshaft, maybe like $150
-There are no shocks on the front, they are struts. 90/10 Lakewood 40510. $125/pair
-Jaz racing bucket, cover and adjustable track. $75
-Starter - TCI #351100 for 153 or 168 tooth. $100

Not sure yet. I might put it back together. Everyone keep playing games with me about the car. I doubt I will part it out unless I sell the complete rear end first.
I am thinking about ordering a roll cage and putting it back together if someone does not buy it in the next couple weeks or so. One it gets warm enough to hang out outside all night, ill probably start working on it and end up putting it back together.
