does anyone know of an interior repair shop in central IL ?


i need to find someone to recover seats and do a new vinyl top on a convertible, and replace door panel vinyl

i took the 60 40 split bench to smitty's in springfield almost two months ago to have it recovered and he still isnt done

he has been in busniess for 30 years he says and he is supposed ot be this great upholstery guy but damn it doesnt take almost two months to recover a bench seat

then yesterday he said he was going to bring it to us all he had to do was reassemble it, and he skipped out on that as well


anyone have any ideas?

this is the only interio shop in this part of the state- that i am aware of


for folks interested in vehicles then dont move to central IL as there is nothing here as far as shops and such

vehicle hobbyists are screwed in at least central il

no perfomance shops no interior shops no 4x4 shops

no anything

nothing exists in cornfield land

i forget the name of the place, but there is a place in bloomington on grove or clinton street just south of schooners that does vinyl repair as well as convertable tops. i've heard good stuff about him. sorry i can't remember the name.

The place in Bloomington is: Twin City Upolstery. They are award winning Custom/Hot Rod interior kind of place. They replaced the seat cover in my '78 Cougar and made me a custom cafe seat for one of my old bikes. Highly recommended.
