paint shop in IL

I need to paint my 89 formula but what good shops are there in the Des Plaines to Oakbrook region. I can drive pretty far but I don't know of anyone that would do a good job. I'm looking to get the factory red done and nothing special. How much would a paint job on just the outside cost? I need a reference to go by.

Try these guys, mind blowing work as well. I hear the guy will do it to whatever standard you want. They do everything from 100 point show cars to daily drivers. I have used them several times and wont go anywhere else. They are in Lake Villa, IL

anywhere from $2500-up. Average respray is about $5000, thats removing the handles, locks trim, etc, bumpers, basically everything thats not sheetmetal. Minor cosmetic work (major dents/rust extra) Exterior respray, no jambs in base/clear. Paintwork isnt what it used to be.

Re: paint shop in IL

from several people in the neighborhood I've heard good things about the maaco at palwaukee airport, near des plaines north on milwaukee. My teacher had his vette painted there and they did a wonderful job.

I've heard bad things about the maaco's in the city, but this one seems pretty good from what i've seen.
