Need some good ole advice

Ok, seems like the more I read the more I am getting confused....I am keeping my L03 for the time being and doing some mods to wake it up. I was at first leaning toward keeping it TBI, but now I am re-thinking that and switching over to a carb. Here is where I need some more ideas/help.....Would an aftermarket/stand alone fuel system let me run a bigger cam than what I can with TBI? Also, I think I want to switch from the 700R4 to a manual, eventually it will have a bigger motor so Muncie,Richmond,TKO T-56??? Going with a manual I don't have to run the torque converter switch if I go to a carb. Since it is an RS I do have a speed limiter in it, so all I need to do is take that out in the prom? All I can think of at the moment. If you see anything I have left out or any extra insight feel free to let me know. Thanks again!

Dave
