I would love to see a bigger thirdgen turnout this year. If we get enough people to show up I may be able to get everyone a discount on renting at Tan Tar A Resort in the Estates part (actual homes). Tell all your friends and lets have a great showing.

I'm gonna try and be there Saturday and Sunday, I know I won't be able to be there Thursday or Friday because I've already requested all my vacation days with work.

Looks like we are lookin atleast 5 thirdgens, I know there will be quite a
few fourth gens, couple first and second gens that come every year too.

 

I could bring the 4th gen too if I had a trailer its a 94 b4c hennessey

 

It would be in good company. My buddy has a 02 NBM SS and another has an 02 Firehawk. Speedtweakerz will also be bringing out a couple of their camaros, one of them made it in the final 8 in pinks all out Topeka

I'm tentatively planning on it as of right now. Providing nothing unexpected happens...

 

Lived out there for a couple of years and went to the car show there in 2008... I must say I was VERY impressed. Still got some great pics on my computer's hard drive that I browse over every now and then. I hated I didn't get to see them all, too many cars and I had to work every day. Did get to take in a large part though. Loved it. Hate to miss it.

 

Vacation days already bid & granted!! CRAP missing it again this year!!

If you haven't been there, Bagnell Dam is a fun place to visit, as is the whole area!!

Biggist downfall is you can't do bernouts anymore, and for deisel fans no smoke rolling.

They have really tuned down the fun from years gone by at bds (bagnell dam strip)

I'm havin some issues right now, I'm the formal chair of my fraternity at Missouri western and we are havin a formal on the 30th, which i don't have to be there, but I'm talkin to my girl now to see if she wants to come down to the lake instead.

 

Yea he emailed me back but it pretty much just said "yea I know colton, and I can help you out" but he never got back to me with any prices or anything. It's all good though, we got a discounted price at a hotel anyways because my brother will be down there for a shooting competition (He's on the Gateway Clay Busters team).

My cars not show worthy but i just got her running dang good today, so i wont be entering the show but i will be going to look. Where do you guys wanna meet up at?

Id register my car but its NO WHERE near worth showing off... Bought a z28 hood for it, going to get it sunday, and some glass t-tops... but it still needs a lot of TLC to even think of entering it. If there was a 3rd gen class allready then i'd jump in dew to theres not many 3rd gens that look as good as mine dose (minus ugly hood) only have a few small dings in the car so its clean... just needs a headliner, new dash pad and the seats and floor redone and it'll be a sweet car again.. AFTER i get the new hood put on it lol.. Just look at my hood its so freaking UGLY!

 

There isn't even an F body class, the whole point of me trying to get as many there as possible is so that we can atleast get an F body class. It really just depends on how many people show up. My car is in the shop right now and the guy wont have it done till after I get back from school in early-mid may

Yeah i'd love a 3rd gen class, itd be awsome and draw more 3rd gens to get ideas from, but like i said my car is, in my eyes, horrid, but from all the complaments i get from it it makes me feel good. Its not pritty but she aint no ugly car... and most 3rd gens around my area that even run are beat all to hell inside and out.... I'm looking at putting new carpet in this summer, and fixing the small little pices parts it needs on the inside, and doing a custom door panels and headliner... Lots of work to be done before its show worthy at all.

 

I hope the 10 day forecast I saw today is wrong. It's saying it will be rainy all weekend. If that's the case I won't be there sorry guys.

None that have touched down. There was a funnel cloud off Cave Springs which is about 4 miles from my house.

 

I had one trying to form above my house in O'fallon. It seems like there have been a lot of tornadoes lately.

 

Yea this year we've had more tornadoes than I can ever remember.

 

Everyones cars still intact? lol I was in springfield yesterday when all that stuff was going on.. the sun was out and there was some light rain.. Sorry to hear your area got hit as hard as it did

 

my brothers car got some hail and my friends car got a destroyed convertible top and water in his car. Luckily, he was planning on redoing the interior next month anyways.

Well, I'm out. I am banking on having crap weather this weekend so I took my defective clutch master cylinder back out and am shipping it back today to get a new one.

 

Just came from the show their were 3 third gens there one with a ls1 in it.

 

Well what do you know mine was the one with the ls1 in it. The show was awesome!!! There was alot of great cars there. This was my first time going and I will be back next year
