Winter and a wet spring is near over here in Northern Illinois and this evening will attend my first car cruise of the year. So it's off to Macdonald's at 34 & Orchard west of Oswego. Ready to do some serious BS-ing and check out some different rides.

 

IT IS ABOUT TIME!!!!!!!!

Went to my first few this week down south of you.

Checked out Lemon Tree in Lemont on Monday night, not a huge showing, but the cars that were there were very nice. A classic yellow 67 firebird, that I parked TTA #613 next too.

Wednesday went to Babe's on Jefferson in Joliet, what a waste of time and gas. Just a bunch of kids with rust buckets and big engines and flashing lights. Not one other show car there, I didn't even park by them all. Don't waste your time here, move along, nothing to see here.

Last night was the first cruise night in beautiful downtown Frankfort. This is a great event. Classic and muscle cars parked all along the street and a main parking lot in the square. Very unique cars and motorcycles to the newest and hottest cars out. TTA #613 was the last one standing at the end of the night. Got a lot of interest. This pic was taken by my phone camera, not that bad considering. You can see it shining in the moonlight.



Tonight is the annual spring car show at Bill Jacobs in Plainfield on RT 30 just west of I-55, 6-9 PM. Free entry, free food, music, and trophies. A great event for the whole family and it is going to be an awesome night. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

Sounds like you had a good cruise in Frankfort. I started to go to a couple earlier that was close to Aurora, but it started raining. The one at Macdonalds off 34 & Orchard road is usually a good one. They have it about once a month. I usually go to one's that are put on by a machanic friend of mine who does cruises & shows.
