To HVAC or not to HVAC?
Ladies and Gentlmen, I am at a crossroads. Last summer I rejoined the thirdgen ranks with a 91 RS, however this particular 91 RS has a heater core leak and the AC doesn't work. As a result, I'm considering doing away with temperature control capabilities completely by eliminating the AC System and bypassing the heater core. The car is my daily when there isn't salt on the ground, and I typically drive it to work, put the t-tops on while I"m at work, take the t-tops off and drive home where I park it in the garage.
Here's where you come in...I grew up a Milwaukee-an, was a Flint-toid for a while, and am now a Dubuque-er, so I know we pretty much all have the same weather during the non-winter months. So, Midwesterners, would you do the same? If you have done all or part of what I'm considering, would you do it again? Do you regret it?
...my main concern is fogging when it's raining...

Heater and defroster is a must have on any car in my book. Fix the heater core. I have lived without AC.
