Looking at selling my setup to be able to buy a new setup. It will be

short block
heads
all accessories (except SMOG, unless you want it and I can throw the box it is sitting in, into the deal)
complete TPI - Spoken for, but no cash
all sensors (including MAF) - Spoken for, but no cash
computer with tuned prom - Spoken for, but no cash
factory prom - Spoken for, but no cash
factory oil cooler setup never installed
motor mounts
Melling high flow oil pump
Master Cylinder - 100K miles on it
TPI airbox - like the one below, but gutted. Once I remove it I will throw pictures up.



I am keeping the pedals and the MC. The engine has a little over 103K miles and has not been beaten on. It has been to the drag strip 2 times and has been on the dyno 1 time. I put down 185 rwhp, but that was 20-30K miles ago. It does have it's oil leaks, what GM doesn't. I would love to keep them together, but if I have a buyer for both I will separate them. Car-parts.com has a transmission for $500 and engine for $625 with harness, the beauty of mine is I am the second owner and I can assure you I have not beaten on this engine. I would like to see $750 for everything. Let me know if I am out of line with pricing.

Honestly I just picked up a complete 5.3 drivetrain from a 01 silverado for 900 bucks if that puts it in perspective, if I were you Id try finding something with bad engine or no engine and swapping it in then sell it. Old pickup or el camino or something along those lines, maybe something pre 70's like a wagon and sell it as a reliable driver with a fun 5 speed or something like that. But hey throw it up on craigslist or racing junk someone will make you an offer, doesnt hurt trying. Id throw you an offer if I had space to store it for a future project, its still a decent combo if your not going all out.

 

Wish I had the cash. That would be an affordable upgrade over the LO3.

 

I know the LS can be had for cheap. There are still plenty of people out there that want these things, it is just a matter of finding them. I should be picking up my new turbo motor shortly, so I am a little more motivated to get rid of it.
