1986 Firebird S/E worth restoring?
1986 Firebird S/E worth restoring?
I have an 86 firebird S/Ewith the ws6 suspension. Its not in horrible shape most stuff on it works and it runs and drives good. Was wondering if it was worth restoring?

No car is financially worth restoring despite what you see on tv.
You restore a car out of passion for that ride. Your never going to recoup costs if your looking for resale

^truth^
If you want to have a nice car to cruise around in or whatever then go for it. Also, w/out seeing pics we can't really tell you if it's a basket case or not.

Let's see photos. You don't see many S/E's around anymore, so it may be worth it depending on shape. What wheels are on it? They have a rare wheel set? If I saw pix, I could tell you. Does it also have factory two-tone paint at the side molding line? Another rarity among 3rd gens.
