Check out http://www.car-parts.com You can search in just MN and by car model and year. If you are looking for a new rear end, now would be the time to swap to a 4th gen rear. Get your posi and disk brakes at teh same time.

I did the 4th gen rear swap last summer. I got posi, disc brakes, amd 3.23 gears (up from my old 3.08). Then I got ZR1/SS wheels.
Make sure if you do that to get the longer e-brake cables for a 3rd gen, not the shorter ones.

I am gonna be back in a week or so from Iowa. I need to find a place to get my car painted, or at the least a paint box where I can do it myself. I have all the compressor and an HVLP gun, but no space.

When I got my 4th gen rear it cost me about that. I got the rear end and calipers used, and rotors new. I found mine in about 10 minutes of calling from the yellow pages.

Are you getting a 4th gen rear or a 3rd gen rear??

Where is everyone? What is goin on? You get your car fixed yet NeedForSpeed? I am starting on the body work in about 4 hours, hopefully my car won't be down for too long...along with the body work I am gonna remove the badging and fill it in so it is smooth. Then it is time to paint!!!! I can't wait for it to be done!

just wanted to shout out to all the third gen owners/lovers in the area.

I just moved To Richfield from San Diego, back in November and drove my camaro all winter.

I have a Red/silver 84 Z28, 305 HO, AT, AC, PS, All power, with No rust whatsoever (first time out of CA). I picked it up a couple of years ago for $900. The interior is Immaculate, There's not one crack on the dash, everything is original.

In the next couple months i will be intalling a 350, t-56 tranny, Mid ninety's firebird style "nostril" hood, probably a weiand 142 supercharger, and of course ditching the stupid CA emissions crap.

If there are any events, i would love to know about them.

what ever you do man get a beater car for the winter. rear wheel drive really sucks in winter conditions and not to mention the salt on the roads here in mn. the salt will eat your car alive. if your car is as clean as you say then whatever you do get a winter beater or your camaro will look like a winter beater in no time.

as far as shows go the state fair grounds will have 2 comming up.one in mid june I think called back to the 50's and in july I think the best show of the year the Car Craft show Nationals and that will be July 18th-20th. if you love pure muscle (or pro streets) go to the Car Craft show, if you love retored cars pre 63 i think then go to back to the 50's, most of these cars are pretty mild as far as a street machine or at least they were the last time I went to it.

I could definitly go for a BBQ! Why not just do it at White Bear Lake, that is big enough, and if I recall you don't have to reserve the parks at all and there are a bunch to choose from.

Sunny Lane park? I think you mean Sunny Acres, but of course, the main parking lot for the park is on sunny lane. Not being nitpicky, I just live like 2 blocks from the place
