Damn that sucks!
It doesn't look like the car has any metallic in the paint. It should be easy to match.

Ouch! I know how it feels. I did that about two times to my '91 RS. Luckily, only the door guards took the damage. Still a horrible thing though.

I'm not saying that punching your friend was the right thing to do, but I would have been mad as hell too, especially since yours was pratically flawless.
I think there was some serious miscommunication there.
What did your buddy say after it happened?

Paying for pizza is a far cry from having your car repaired. When your buddy is playing on the ps2 and doing well, turn the PS2 off right in the middle. That might make you feel a little better, since he can't say anything.
How much would it cost to get that fixed?

I'm curious as to how this happened. I'm apparently missing something here. It looks like this happened right next to your head. You couldn't see how close you were by looking out the window ? Looks more like poor judgement on both peoples part and driver error.
Sorry to see the damage though.

f*ck man, sorry to see that happen... hopefully u can settle it and get that car back to the way it looked before. i've always thought ur car was a unique combo... and that it looks great.
I have to agree with deadbird. this damage is on the drivers side. prob not what you want to hear but you should have been able to see things better and if you couldn't see the side of the car maybe you were to close to the door frame of the garage which would meen don't hit the gas. sorry bud, really not trying to be mean.

I have to admit, like mentioned earlier, your head had to be pretty close the wood, and must have given it a lot of gas for damage like that.
I still think your buddy is to blame, but still, I am wondering. . . . . . .

Wow, the way NEEDforSPEED types reminds me of a badly translated Japanese label.
"he got boaght us all pizza"
"THE SOUNDS OF WOOD ON MELT"
"its wired how much a car has over a man"
"extra making happy triple"
I prob shouldn't add insult to injury tho. Good luck getting it fixed.

You punched a friend in the face for making fun of you when you hit the side of your garage pulling out?
It's just a car. It can be fixed.
As far as repairing the damage.. it looks like most of it can be pulled out rather easily.. if not, junkyard doors are CHEAP.
The paint is an easy match.
You need to apologize to your friend and thank him for the pizza. It's not his fault you hit the f*cking wall.
Not being mean, but who drove the car into the garage? I mean you put it in and you couldn't get it out? Do you always have a friend ride with you when you drive around town in case you have to get in or out of a parking spot? Take it easy on your friend, you were driving. Sorry to see a nice car like yours get nicked.

Sorry to see that happen man, but it is your fault as much as your friend's. I realize in the heat of the moment you punched him, but it wasn't his fault. We have mirrors on our cars so you can see, and also like was said before you can roll the window down and look out. I realize this is all hindsight but, as long as you learn from it, then it's all good. I've done plenty of stupid ****, and hopefully have learned from most of it.
I would go with a new door and then hopefully you can get the quarter panel pulled back straight.
You must've went out at a pretty good angle to manage that one.

i dont know about you guys, but i would fly off the handle too if a friend made a coment like that right after the damage occured. i wouldnt say the accident was his fault, but making a snide coment at that point is diserving of a fist in the face. now if he gave him some **** at a later point after having time to cool off things would b different. I took my passanger side mirror while backing out of my garage in my old car. i was looking at my other side to avoid some stuff on the garage floor..... man i was pissed.... and DONT GO TO MACCO. i did, and spent 600 bucks on a shoty job, only to total the car 5 minutes after writing the damn check

It's your own fault u dont know how to back up.. like it has been pointed out that damage is your own side... dont drive if you dont know how.. dont mean to sound harsh but you sound all pissed off at your friend when its your own damn fault.
The damage is in the Left rear quater/door panel, and you said you were BACKING out? It doesn't figure. If you hit ont he left side, you would have had to be moving forward out of the garage.
