Looking for a good machine shop

Hi,
I am looking for a good machine shop that wont rip me off. I was thinking about borowski racing but i was told that i will be paying more for the name then anything else. I dont have alot of extra money in my budget to spend on over priced machine work. Any one got any recommendations for a shop within about 45 minutes of me that does good work for a good price? I live in New Lenox IL, right by joliet.

Ask your local speed shops who they use.

i always recommend Bill at Built Rite in Lombard. He did our 396BBC for the 70 Chevelle. Was pretty upfront about everything, even let me tour the place before we sat down to brass tax with him. Good guys in there.

Turns out he has a pretty great rep with car guys i have run into in the lombard/downers grove area. SBC, porting, etc.
