Just moved to MI and I am looking for autocross events in the area. The closest I have found was an SCCA event that is in Toledo. I am in Jackson, MI I am fine with an hour or so drive and it also does not need to be SCCA. I am just looking for some place where I can go run my car.

most active is South bend region SCCA they run at tire rack in may they have one at Gingerman raceway with a track night after. West Michigan SCCA has one at coming up in may at Michigan adventure some times the Porsche club has one at Spartan speedway

 

That's kind of a bummer. I guess I'm going to be drag racing then. I'm an hour from Milan.

 

I haven't run any auto-x here in years. But back when I did do it, I preferred the ones held by the Corvette Club of Michigan Vs. the SCCA Detroit Region. The courses were a little "bigger", or more wide open, which I prefer. You can check their site and see where they run, and if there any events reasonably close to you.

 

I checked the SCCA website and the closest thing for solo was in Toledo. I am currently in Jackson. I miss how close I was to Pitt Race, which had autocross every other week plus they had a match tour event there once a year. It was pretty awesome. Now I have like nothing. I've haven't finished my 9" so there is no drag racing for me until I do.

Is there any good place to sell parts up here? I am getting rid of my leather interior out of my car its the 98-02 graphite leather, I have noticed that CL is not great.

There are autocross races in pontiac, and detroit. And we are trying to start something here in Grand Rapids aswell.

 

Where do they run in Pontiac, Kush? Are they using the new M1 Concourse?
