Engine Builder in MN--Schwanke Engines?

Has anyone heard of or had dealings with this company? They sure talked the talk when I spoke with them on the phone but I can' find zero info on them in the last 8 years. Looking to have an LS short block freshened up before installing it since it sat in a junk yard for 8 years before I got it and they are local to me (within 2 hours)

LOL Well, sorta... About ten years ago in South Dakota, a random conversation in a garage surrounding the fine art of dirt track roundy round racing turned to the Schwanke. The general idea was that someone, somewhere, told someone else, that if they wanted "the ****" they should buy a "Schwanke".

It was pretty funny, but you can never know if the guy providing the advice knew his *** from a hole in the ground, or how many alcoholic beverages he'd consumed before preaching the good word of the Schwanke. The frozen North grows some odd-ones, and they all seem to love that dirt trackin'.

Can't beat dirt track for fun. Unfortunately, I'm not building one for dirt track. All the info I found was about their Dirt Track Success. Now they advertise as LS specialists (doesn't everyone?) They even put an LS motor in a car that raced in some international race in South Africa and won. but everything I've found is 6+ years old it seems. Nothing more recent.

So before I go somewhere, I like to find reviews, history, word of mouth..something. But it's just...crickets. Which means no one uses them...but why? too remote? Or terrible?
