I havent been on here for like a year, then i had to get a new board name so i lost all my post. Oh well, I live in Hoffman Estates NW burbs of Chicago, im willing to travel to meat you guys somewhere when and if you start a 3rd gen club. I just meet another guy that wants to do the same think. im sad and sorry to say that I will not be able to attend the first of our meetings =( My camaro will not be ready in time because of the current motor swap Im involved in right now, I just got the old one out, and I have to change the heads, cam, lifters, timing chain, etc etc, and I just wont be ready. I hope there is a second meeting soon and hope the first one goes well for all of a

 

bobs89irocz and mac-Hey no problem, we decided we are going to meet every month the first saturday at 4:30 there so maybe you two can make the next meeting. We had like 10 people there and about 8 cars (6 thirdgens, 2 vettes) so the more the better...We had another guy that stopped by interested (gotta email him) that has a camaro hes building as well. Dave should all provide pictures that he took. Hes the camara b*tch! lol Anyways. I gotta go work on the 'maro.

 

I'll start making the drive over as soon as someone finds me a car to bring. I drive to Peoria just about every weeknight until next month, when the ol' fiancee gets done interning at the hospital.

is it all maro's at the meet? or does some people have some firebirds too?
just curious, nothing against camaros... love them both.. it's just cooler if there is atleast ONE firebird sides mine..

 

yea there are a couple...to be exact as of right now there are 4 maro's and 3 birds...one i dont believe is drivable right now...he has a supercharged 468

 

Sorry to say I won't be making any of the meetings for a while. Since I work every other weekend and the meetings are falling on the first weekend of the month It'll take a while for them to shift to my weekend off. I will keep track though so I can at least get down there and meet some of you guys once. I do hope it goes well and your membership grows.
