Would like to get a club goin down here....

 

i know my friend has is down there at SIU. He has a 91 RS Convertible with a SS hood on it. Not too hard too miss.

 

I see a lot of 3rds down here... No clubs though....

 

I'm in Mt. Vernon... I would love to see a club down here... We could hit I-57 Drags sometime to do some Racing and swapping. You could watch me eat my new tranny up

I am in Southern IL, Carbondale myself and I have seen that vert before, pretty slick, although I don't plan on being here too long after I graduate.

 

When I went to SIU for a while in the late 90s. THere were 5 thirdgens in just one of the green sticker lots (by the towers).
They were everywhere.
Ahh, memories.
SIU and the Camaro, back when she was mint and I was another punk in a thirdgen rallying through Giant City thinkin I'm hot sht.

 

I'm from Paducah, KY. We have a Camaro Club down here. It's called Heartland Camaro Club. We have some people in the club from Golconda and Metropolis. We meet the second Tuesday of every month at a restauraunt. Usually a place called "Yesterday's Burgers". Sometimes at a place called Nick's. Let me know if you'd like to check it out. I'll let you know which place. We have lots of cruises and sponsor car shows for charity and stuff. It's a good time. Sometimes we cruise to a dragstrip or maybe to Sikeston, MO to a restaraunt called Lamberts.

Do you ever go to I-57 dragstrip?
