Check out my new parts car-too many goodies came along with it to post, I got a tread in the body/interior section under "painter is teasing me" that has all the specs. 85 bird, all there, total cost: I gotta pull the engine/tranny Fri. night for him-not too bad I thought.

I plan on offing them once I get a junk set to throw on, that'll probably be in the next week or two, they are only 14" though-I think that's what's gonna make them a hard sell.

Mav, if you got junk rims and tires to throw on I'd probably let them go for $75 as they sit right now. Not tryin to rip off my boys from IA., but once I put a spit shine on em, and advertise on E-bay I'm sure I'll at least get $100 or higher from somebody.

Damn, you aint gonna forget about your other car now are ya? Those new camero's are pretty damn quick straight outtat the factory. We had a Bosnian kid with a 94 or 95, he had a chip and a "Tornado"-yep, as seen on T.V. running mid-low 13's. AND he had all the creature comforts.
All you need to do now is get a 2nd, and 1st gen then your collection will be complete.
Wish you would have gotten a 94 Firebird though, then I coulda traded ya those 14" rims for the seats in your new ride. :lala:

Gettin old and frale? It'll be awhile till I go to get rid of the beast, I gotta get mine back together-TOP PRIORITY, as racing starts in April and I still have LOTS to do. Just give me a call whenever, never broke anything in my life except my nose (twice), I imagine a major limb breakage does'nt feel none to great, drink milk, take your vitamins, and tell the wife/girlfriend she's lucky as it's one less hand you have to beat her with. Have a good one.

If you want more info on the Mid Iowa Camaro club, you contact me at (515)-253-3928, ask for Larry. He is the Vice President of the club and can help you get signed up. This years list of events are pretty cool. We always go to different car shows every where in the state. This year we will also be having a Eddyville day, where we are taking on the Mustang Club of Iowa in a shoot out The club is haveing a Meeting Next Saturday at The North End diner in Johnston, take I-80 to exit 31 I believe, Titled Johnston.

We also have our own Zaino Distributer here in Central Iowa. His name is Matt Bennet. Matt is a highly active member of the Iowa Fbody club. You may have seen his car around. Its a an awesome Black 95 Firehawk.

If you guys want any more info on either club or anything, feel free to call me after 5 on weekdays, or anytime on the weekends, or my aim screen name is Screamin94Z I am ALWAYS online.

I am in Dubuque until May when school gets done, then back to MN I go. I haven't done anything to my car other than trying to make it look halfway decent. I bought it for $1400 as a project car. Right now all that is left to do is give it a paint job. Then I will start in on the engine mods.

I live in Davenport and it sucks *&^. There is nobody around here that even looks like they wash or maintain their rides. I tell people i'm fixxin' up a camaro and they laugh and say i'm on crack.Even my own father said "you need to get rid of that car today!"on the day I brought it home.It is now 75% complete and I cant wait till spring to eat ford soup and **** pudding. The moral of my story, even though i've lost women, friends and some of my familys faith I sill have my ride and when spring hits they wont be fast enough to catch a ride in my 500 horse land missile. Thank You for listening. Kevin "Its Lonely At The Front" L. 85 pitch black 383 stroked camaro sc yes sc they should have called it cruise missle

You aren't that far away at all, I am in Davenport all the time with my friend, but he usually drives since he lives there. When it gets warmer maybe you will see my cruising around down there. Hard to miss, black '92 RS with Minnesota plates(no front plate) can't be more than, oh, one of those in all of Davenport.

Hey

www.eifba.org (Cedar Rapids Camaro Club) or www.mfba.org. I sometimes go to the iowafbody but for some reason no one is ever there.

Josh looking good man. I hope you do have her done in time for April. You're in the 13's I am looking to get into the 13's. Just love the F Body's and hope to see you around.

As for the guys at ISU. I went there and she wasn't the easiest school in the world. Lot of people I know (like half the new class) dropped out aftre the first semester.

Just the other day i let somebody cut ahead of me in traffic and later down the road when we came to a stop light the guy was behind me in another lane....then at the next stop light he rolled down his window and said he figured out why i let him cut in front of me just by looking at my license plate....

Well i finally got a picture of the Iowa Plates........I'm still representing Iowa, even though i live in Florida.......It's from Grundy county where i used to live.......

My project...

I've got mine torn down to long block status to basically fix a water leak from the water kneck!!! It went like this...

Tear enough of it apart to get to the water kneck... buy new water kneck, gasket, and thermostat... decided since I've gone this far, might as well replace the water pump... tear off water pump, buy new... decided since I've gone this far, might as well replace the timing chain... timing chain is off, might as well replace the peanut cam... Hummmmmmmm, SLP runners would match that cam nicely... Clean injectors after testing them good, buy new pintle caps and rubber O-rings... Oh, need AFPR to help make it run right with all of the new air from the other mods... Need a programmer by now with this large of a change... Leave that stupid air pump off when reinstalling, but have to cap off the AIR fittings on the manifolds... hummmmmmmm, headers would be easy to install with everything torn down this far...

I don't know if this is still kickin e-mailed updates when someones posts, if so go check out my "neeew" ride in the apperance and detail forum under Finally finished product-almost. Demois, this is what your looking for April 19th. We got the 383 dynoed at Spere's Fri. 25th came in at 505 lb/tq. @ 5100 and 555hp @ 6300, not too bad. Should put the lil S-10 into the deep 10's and maybe with a steeper gear swap high 9's. We're gonna stay in the 10's as it's cheaper/easier to run slower. Met 3 of the members of Midwest Motor Madness, I'm gonna trailer down to CR this summer to hang out and see what goes on at B-Bops Thurs. nights

That sounds cool. I have a ntirous kit for sale if you want to tach on even more hp. I would love to see you at B Bops. It starts April 10th. Now as for racing. I don't know if I will run any good times, because the mickey's are on back order until the 22 of April. I will see if I can get some normal slicks for my odd backspacing rims.
