I have been working on a Third Gen model that I acquired for free, already assembled.. it's not going so well.

So, what I am looking for is a model of a Camaro that does not have a high-rise spoiler, GFX don't matter, motor doesn't matter because it will be getting an LS1 put in it's place.

I just want to build a model of what my car will be eventually... also a 4th gen interior would be great..

If someone has a newer Camaro model with an LS1 as well I would love that too..

Anybody have anything?

 

Revell-Monogram makes a 2002 SS Camaro in 35th Anniversary and Motor City Mucsle form. I haven't built it but I have heard its a pretty good model. Just search for a SS Camaro on ebay. Good luck with getting the engine and interior to fit in the thirdgen. I am currently doing a LT5 swap in a 55 vette. That is not fun at all. Good luck with it.

 

wal mart has 3rd gen camaros and 4th gen camaros for sale. the 3rdgen ones are 84-85 if i remember correctly so they wont have the highrise spoiler. ill take a pic of the few ones i got in a few mins for ya.

Care to take a pic of one for me sometime? If you wouldn't mind picking one up I could pay a little extra or something..

 

the one wal mart sells is an old monogram ,now revell kit its a 85-90 Z-28 with lip spoiler and 15" wheels , louvered hood . molded in dark red with very thin casting but is proportioned well and a good basis for replicas. I did mine and it turned out well I got a high rise spoiler from a bmw m-3 tamiya touring car kit and modded it .
