What are your scariest moments while working on your cars?

I'm guessing everyone has had the OMG moments while under the car but I've recently had 2 situations and it wasn't the jack slipping.
I was checking the oil level in the differential a few weeks ago and as I slid out from under the car I was face to face with a Pit Bull I had never seen before and we just kind of stared at each other. He was friendly all was well.

About a week later I was checking my timing and a really large German Shephard decide to get up on its hind legs to have a look too, again I had never seen this dog before and just froze for a minute.

Both dogs were friendly but man my heart raced both times

Interesting topic, but the mods will probably lock/move this to a more suited area.

ThirdGen.org is a tech-only website. We don't have any Lounge/Off-topic section as Tech-only has been the sole focus of this website for most of it's existence. You might be able to post in the Regional section for your area, as the Regional sections tend to be a bit more relaxed.
