Re: looking for 3rd gen camaro hot wheels
I find some thirdgen diecast on E-bay. Picked up a new in the wrapper 1:64 scale 87 Iroc for .06 cents plus 6 bucks shipping... You also might look at the Johnny Lightning brand, and Greenlight. They both made some nice 1:64 thirdgen maros and birds.
Hey Project-RS, the last issuance of hot wheels for 2012 has an 86 or 87 camaro in it. they should be on the pegs in all the major stores(walmart, k-mart, targets,etc..) right now. i have about six of them already. they are very sweet

Hot Wheels Blown Camaro: International Editions
below are the two pictured that I am looking for my collection. I already have all the others. They do not need to be packaged, but in good to excellent condition.
black tampos on the side, plain hood, ultra hots wheels
this is even more hard to find. blue tampos on the side, plain hood, and SILVER hot ones wheels.
This is a current pic of my Hot Wheels collection. It includes the Blown Camaros, 80s Camaros, and the new 1985 IROC Z28 Camaro. Each car is diffrent in paint, wheels, interior, window tint, or base. They are all production models once sold individually, in a set or mail order. As listed before, I am only missing a few, according to my research, and I guess technically, two Hot Wheels micro series, chrome and purple..

I saw that Camaro Z28 hot wheels in walmart today, (the one pictured on the left, that looks like a 70's camaro) - but it's a third gen body style...whats up with that inacurracy?...
Well, there are four aqua blown camaros Im searching for, one maroon one, and the "still havent seen" holiday camaro with the ten spokes. I did however buy another hard to find maroon w/ orange tampos and bw wheels.
jump up you have a good collection going there. id keep it going..
i see that but havent found any further information on them. i wasnt able to verify the changes in colors. but i guess there it is..
ive got a few transams including two 2012 73 green transams in the package, and a rare brown 77 hot bird if your interested in a trade or two..
I would rather sell them all as a whole. Thanks for the trade offer but I don't want to get rid just a few. Some of them are hard to track down as you know.
I gave up on finding the Hot Wheels red IROC in the stores. I paid the long dollar to get one on fleabay. Just had to have one. Now I'll probably start seeing them in the stores all over the place.
Haz anyone seen noticed discovered a superb way to to display all off these ''Mini Me'' Mobils??? Kariyoke Bars, Freeway overpasses, engine blockz, ect.? I've got boxes full and put away where the wife don't know about.. Nitro-Nicky

Mini me's: (miniture camaro's or minuture whatever you drive and collect it as a hot wheel). I'm looking for good wayz to display them; something that is better than a bunch of them just tacked up in a row.
I know; it made more sense after a 16 hour day and four beers....
I've got some severe spinal nerve damage that demands the intake of some strong ochasional medications. I have no clue at time what's going to set them off- Was it too much testosterone levels, a stray sleeping pill that got mixed up OR???
What I was after was a clear sighted feedback discussion on high end decoration techniques for the 3 car garage sized. I have so little ability of my own, but I can copy really well!

I was in the toy section of Target today, looking for Valentine's gifts for the grandkids and happened to recall this thread. I found a half dozen of the red "1985 Chevrolet Camaro Iroc-Z" Hot Wheels. Even bought one, $1.07.
I like to collect just about anything that was once unique in some form or another and didn't have an Ivy League backing behind it. We could have our Johnny Lightning and the rich kids could have the actual cars! However; I regrouped my collecting over the past decade to just hot rod replicas/ways to decorate my garage with antique materials instead of knowck off materieals/ a great display of early-early cap gun materials (including the games, holster rigs, store displays, and rare knock off items) Lastly, I collect older weapons; usually Marlins, and 22 rifles that break down into two parts- I pay a premium for those. My office is stricktly covered in Native Americana. Prarie Indian items are all so full of fakes. I can't find hardly ANY none faked indian smoke pipes even at the big Wyoming, Buffalo Bill Museum.
With the new 3 car garage I'm fixing up, once the heating/AC guys can get through with their work, I can start decorating the floor, add the cabinets and then pick which walls get the cars, which get the cap & pellet guns. I'd just like to see some sort of decorating ability happen.
It's a strong twisted desire: take a working garage, add a shop, dye the floor so you have to be careful, and do it all with no more money. And did I mention the RATZ???? Yes, those stinking things moved back in before two months have gone by from all the buildings being heavily fumigated (twice)!
