1982-1992 FIREBIRD TRANS AM/ FORMULA Air Intake Hood BLOCK OFF PLATE-VERY RARE OEM !
Just came across this OEM Air Intake Block Off Plate, in my garage. These were used from 1982-1985 on Trans AM and all the Formula Birds from 1982-1992 had this inserted into the power bulge. I bought an extra one of these, because I thought of machining a grid of small holes to let out the engine heat, but never got around to it, as I found a mesh one from the H.O. Trans Am. I looked up to see if I could find any on eBay and NONE are listed. Also checked out Classic Industries and they have NOT reproduced one as of yet.
