Chip burning in New England

Looking for someone in New England area, preferably RI, who has experience burning chips. I am very interested in learning all I can about this technique. I would really like to benefit from someone else's experience and actually see it done before I try to do it myself with no prior knowledge. I know everyone says read the posts and buy the equipment and do it, but I would really like a hands on intro. I've read the posts and some if it stills sounds like chinease. Any volunteers? I'll bring the beers!
