Mass Thirdgen Club
Mass Thirdgen
Mass Thirdgen is the recently created thirdgen fbody organization/club. The first meet is scheduled for this sunday, but the place of meeting is still under debate. I will be creating a website as soon as I get the time to. This club is for getting together for fun, discussion about our cars, cruising, etc. All fbody owners are welcome. Myself and other Mass Thirdgen members shall keep you all posted.
And IROCZ88X if you want to see what I have done so far for my student council you can check it out here http://www.nipmuc.org/Student%20Council/index.html
Any questions or comments feel free to post your thoughts or opinions

Right now the places that we could meet would be in marlboro. Either at industrial parking lots off of 495 or at the Solomon Pond Mall, which is right off of 495 as well and 290 I think IROCZ88X said. What do you think is best?

i assume there wont be many people so i think the mall would be the best place...its also very easy to get to...it is off rt. 290 (u can see the mall from the highway) the mall itself is on donald lynch blvd....if ur coming on 495, the mall is only a few exits from the 290/495 intersection...290 also ends right at 495 is its easy to find...is this a good idea guys...anyone who wants directions, ill give u more specific ones...also, what times are good for everyone?
hey, i wana join! is it ok if i/my camaro live in NJ? i can be in two clubs! sweet.... let me know where it is fellas... and directions from springfield... i go to college up here... thanks ya'll remember... no idea where i am... none

we wouldnt want to exculde u just cuz ur from nj
from springfield, its like an hour and a half, take rt. 90 to 290 then its exit 25B for solomon pond mall...if we meet here, it will be in the back parking lot near "linens and things"

Sounds good to me guys..I like meeting up with cool f-body owners. Any cool car owners in general. And well ya i did get my IROC to a 13.8@104 it wasn't stock but it wasn't heavily modded. It ran a 14.2 with K&N's and 3.42's. So after full exhaust, cam, and some various other crap here and there i manged to basically cut almost another second off my stock times(that's of course if i hadn't spun the hell out of my tires hence the 104mph trap speed.) But ya keep this post going and when you guys want to set up another meet let me know. I'm down..

IMO every fourth gen stock sounds nice. Even the thirdgens don't have the sound even close stock, stock 3rd gen actually i think is the quietest. But i think the nicest sounding 4th gen is one with a Borla!
o yes definatly. I mean im a flowmaster fan all the way and I also dig that SLP Loudmouth set up but nothing beats a Borla on a 4th gen. :hail:

I've got the SLP dual/dual stainless exhaust from the factory and it sounds nice. I'm replacing the muffler with a flowmaster though on monday. I want something louder.

But as far as performance places in new bedford there's alot of import shops mostly. I know there are some speed shops around though locally that are good. But if you're ever around and wanna hang out you should come out to gary's best on saturday night in new bedford. There's usually a good amount of cars and the cops never really hassle us. I'll probably be going this saturday around 10:30 pm. If you wanna go let me know i'll give you directions.
And there's always atleast one guaranteed race..lol my friend tries to race me every week in his WRX. Senior Member

Hey...
I go to school in Boston and live in Webster. I would love to meet up with you guys @ Solomon Pond, but I don't think I'm gonna be able to make it tomorrow...
If you decide to have another get together, let me know. I would definately be interested.

The first "official" Mass Thirdgen meet happened today. The appearance was small, but there were many people who wanted to come but couldn't for reasons unknown. We expect a bigger turnout next time.
I just wanted to make a few things clear, that I guess some people had confusion with. The club was just called Mass Thirdgen because the person who thought it up owns a thirdgen along with many other. Mass being for massachusetts. I stated in my first post of this thread, that ALL Fbody owners are welcome to come, and we would enjoy your company. Also, people out of state are welcome as well, we aren't excluding anyone, all fbody owners can join/come.
I hope this clears some things up for a few people.
Peace
I just wanted to make a few things clear, that I guess some people had confusion with. The club was just called Mass Thirdgen because the person who thought it up owns a thirdgen along with many other. Mass being for massachusetts. I stated in my first post of this thread, that ALL Fbody owners are welcome to come, and we would enjoy your company. Also, people out of state are welcome as well, we aren't excluding anyone, all fbody owners can join/come.
I hope this clears some things up for a few people.
Peace
