Yeah itd be cool if we could get a bunch of thirdgenners together, perhaps berlin turnpike? I love the place, and go there often providing my car is running right and isnt on its current hobby of drinking transmission fluid

 

Ya definatley, we should meet up some time. I live in Milford and the berlin turnpike would be a great place to meet up. Hopefully by then ill have a new car. I'm looking for a 91 or 92 z28 with a 350 or an iroc wit a 350. if any of you guys have seen one of these that is pretty mint let me know im in the market. But ya let me know about a meet cuz i would love to go.

 

I'm in CT.....New Britain to be exact. I think I'm selling my Camaro drumike. It wouldn't be too cheap though, but its one of a kind. Okay I don't have an F-body but I live in Kensington (Berlin) CT. I am about 2 minutes from the Pike and about 5-10 from the larger DD (south). I used to go there every weekend in the summer until the cops became idiots and pulled everyone over. I would be willing to cruise up there, but the Mustang is in storage now! By the end of April it will be out and hopefully low 13s!

If you guys dont mind a Mustang coming out let me know!

 

I live in hamden, at school in RI but ill be around in the summer.
I was going to go to the pike last summer but i heard its was pretty bad lately, and the cops give out tickets left and right. Not to mention people driving around crazy and causing alot of accidents. I know it was cool back in the day, I remember my dad taking me there in his GTO's back then.

Iroc n roll - whats the deal with the ctfba, how do you join and what kind of stuff do u guys do?

 

5.0, it would be nice to finally meet you man! yea.. i guess the bigger on is the one thats kinda on that his... i dont know which was is south or north... i just know that it was larger then the other one that had 2 small parking lots someone is gunna have to take me for a ride up and down to all the hot spots cause i didnt see a lot. Im used to our racing spot where you can see 10-20 cars ever place there was a parking lot... for 10 miles.. and then the beach where a LOT of them hung out... i hope CT can come up big with a nice turn out! hehehehe

 

The south one shares a lot with Town Fair Tire and has a bigger lot on the hill. The North one is next to McDonalds and has a very small lot. Usually the South lot has nice cars in the summer (more muscle and less ****) and also the north lot although the lowrider trucks like it there! Pretty much anywhere from Pep-Boys to McDonalds that has a parking lot will get people in! You will do a lot of driving being thrown out but it is okay (getting worse though)!

I would want to meet up but I am driving the Jeep now and although that has taken down a few cars (I actually don't street race the Mustang and rarely do the Jeep) and even came close to my friends Denali, I just couldn't see cruising around in it. Not enough attention for me! The Mustang comes out of it's heated storage in mid April, for a dyno day and then our first club meets! By then I should be up for some cruising, even with the thirdgen guys! J/K, I am cool with any American muscle!

 

I know a few guys in the CTFBA, Scotty and his Procharged WS6 and Ettore and his nitroused LT1! Both are good guys and the club seems to be growing all the time!

Hey guys Ill be back in may when i get out of school, probably down there a lot. Ive got the t/a in my avatar. Ever see it anywhere come up and talk, but be prepared for an hour on hearing about my car, i never shut up about it. Maybe this summer we could get more of us to meet up at the pike. I love that place, despite being caught racing there last year.

 

5.0, were u down at teh pike tonight (friday)? i was first at the taco bell but way to many ricers... then i went to the D&D south, and parked right next to a pewter SS... i didnt see you.. i walked around a little, and was waiting for you to pop out of your jeep and go shout me out... hehehe oh well.. it started to rain and i left.... then got yelled at by the cops... and this was allin my taurass... crazy, but disapointing night...

and 84.. i saw a car that looked just like yours with the white stripes... i was gunna say hi but i remeberd you said you werent gunna be there till may... oh well

 

No. I went to a play a bunch of friends were in at my school, and then we went over someones house for a few hours. I was out till about 12:00 or so and it had been raining so I went home. This Sunday some guys from my Mustang club may be going out to DD after dinner to hang out a little! This hasen't fully been decided yet, but if they do I should be up there at 6:00 or so! If you want to cruise by we could meet up (although there will be a few Mustang owners with their cars).
