Burning Question for Long Island cruise night!
Is anyone from LI here? How about anyone that knows when Bald Hill starts? Thats seems to be the mystery every year. I wanna go tonight but I don't wanna drive there and find out it's closed.

Should be open tonight. I'm upstate at school right now but one of my best friends who's home said it actually started a week or two ago but I think tonight will be the first nice night. I get back from school in june and once I'm back I'll be there every tuesday that it's nice. See you there.

Accused..where are you located? I'm only a few minutes from Bald Hill..I didn't think it opened this early in the season, but maybe I'll take a ride up there later. This link has a few local cruise nights... http://clubs.hemmings.com/clubsites/...uisenights.htm but no contact info for Bald Hill. Love to see another 3rd gen 'vert up there...there weren't many last year. Got any pics of your car so I'd recognize it? Mine are at https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hlight=deemax. If you see me, stop by and say hello!

I have been going there for the past few years. Last year was my first year there with my vert but it was being painted most of the summer so I wasn't there that often. I live in Wading River but I work at SignPro on 83 and didn't see any signs at the entrance on my way home. I guess I'll just cruise by there later. Here's a link to my cardomain site. Keep a look out for me if you show up!

I've never been to Bald Hill b/c exit 63 is sort of a drive for me to take during the week. Maybe one day I'll try and make it, I've heard it's huge. This site could help you finding different cruise nights. It posts different shows across the island plus other stuff:

That site was pretty cool, thanks! Well, as you may already know, there was no Bald Hill tonight. I cruised by there at about 5:30 on my way to the gym. There were a bunch of hot rods cruising by as well but it was closed. That doesn't solve the mystery, though. I wish I knew the real answer because I'm tired of getting my hopes up every tuesday, y'know?

Accused..thanks. It's looking better this year than last, cause now I don't have that raggy interior in there! I didn't get it back on the road til the end of August last year...went to Bald Hill a couple of time, but I'll definately be up there more this year. I checked your site too..that car is sweet! The paint looks great..and that dash is smokin'. Can't wait to see it in person.
I think I"ll call Farmingville FD when I get a chance..somebody there should know when it starts. Or maybe just take a ride past the station on Portion Rd. and see if there's anything listed on the sign out front.
Ya' know, there's also a drive in the first Sunday of each month at the old OBI West on Ocean Parkway just for Camaros. Sponsored by the LI Camaro club. I haven't been yet, but its a nice place to cruise on a Sunday afternoon.
