..I just got my 84 Trans Am...i live in northern jersey (clifton) im interested in having a weekly meet anywhere...perhaps a food place on a friday or saturday night..anyone in?

other ideas welcome

 

it depends on were it is. we should have it at the hot grill. just joking. i really don't like to take my car to far because im so **** about my new paint. i could probably go to clifton sometimes if there is a decent amount of people. let me know.

 

i wouldnt mind driving anywhere in northern jersey if some people are interested in getting together...my car was painted a week ago..dont be so worried about damage thats why they invented rubbing compound and body shops...

 

I live in Fair Lawn, could be interested depending on where/the number of people.

 

yeah i know, i work at a body shop. its just that i put so much work into my car and i would kill someone it something happened to it.

there is a cruize night every wednesday in Wyckoff. theres not to many 3rd gens put there are alot of nice cars. i there every time.

i want to take that back..some F@cking @sshole opend their door into im driverside door then took off...there is dent in the crease..the paint wasnt chipped but there is a noticable ding..can that be removed and how much?..again im sorry for critizing you but now i understand...

Hey, there's a meet/show every thursday nite in Pompton Lakes by the a+p starting around 6 at nite...mainly older chevy's and roadsters on one side and some 3rd + 4th gens and random stuff on the other..i have only stopped to look in my xtreme about twice so cant tell much more....

 

I've been to the A&P one in pompton lakes like 2-3 times......they don't let the "newer" cars parked with the "show" cars though. so you just kinda have to find your own parking.

 

yeah..i notice they had a sign that said 1979 under shows to the one side....well, i may take my truck down there one of these weeks(since i sold the T/A)..

 

yeah i've been to the A+P in pomtom. there are alot of nice cars there. actually i saw misterjuice there once. i like the Wyckoff b/c you can bring what ever you want. it goes until 9pm but as someone mentioned, they normally leave around 8:30. i'm there every week. and yes it is the DMV(i think the DMV is still there) parking lot

 

..i get finished with delivering pizza's at 6...i should be able to get to wycoff by 6:30....keep an eye out for a atlantic blue trans am..

Guys, there's also a good show at Drug Fair in Wayne, NJ ( on Valley Rd).......every tuesday night 6:30-9:30......we were there last night, lots of cars.

I made it to Wyckoff tonite, i was in my neon (yes it's yellow). didn't stay too long tho.

 

hey 84H.O.Trans Am, sorry i didn't get a chance to talk to you. i was talking to the guy who build my motor the whole night, thats why i didn't see you. i saw you car and it looks great. did you get a chance to look at mine.it was next to my friends 87 maroon cutlass. it was the only black third gen there. oh well, maybe next time i'll get a chace to talk to you.

That is most likely where I will be for the rest of the summer. Since I've been going to the track on Wed. nights I don't know a good show on Wed. to go to...

 

The Whiskey Cafe in Lyndhurst had a car cruise show thing or whatever it was. Ill chk it out, see if they still have it.


Ill try to make some of those shows next week with my RS, I should have my 86 TA out of body shop in a month, atleast the paint and bodywork will be done, just dont look inside

 

i was just at the pompton lakes one a week ago. lots of nice chevys there of all kinds (vettes, camaros, el caminos, impalas). even saw a shelby GT 350. also saw a blown vega, with some of the widest street tires i've ever seen. i'll be showing up at a lot of local stuff once i get things straightened out with the IROC i'm looking to buy.

 

The Whisky is every saturday night. Good showing of pretty much everything.

Not much in lower bergen county with the exception of Lyndhurst. Not like it matters without a car(specifically a #3 piston) there is no cruise. But oh she will be back in a very big way!

 

usually on saturday nights, we have about five third gen camaros hanging out in the Clifton commons parking lot up by stop and shop and hallmark. If youre ever in the area, stop by. Usually you'll see one white camaro and four black ones. Looking to get more.
