looking for a good machine shop in NE

I am looking for a good shop to build my engine for me in the New England area. I live south eastern MA. I want a 383 short block made for me. I was about to go to Golens but I have been reading bad stuf about them. anyone have any other good shops the know of?

best thing i can advise is this...

call a couple different shops, and visit each one. pick the best combination of clean shop, knowledgeable personnel, and willingness to answer questions.

I would recomend Reid's in Whitman MA. I had my engine built there they do GREAT work.His son runs a 305TPI in the 11's bracket racing.Might be pricy but they do QUALITY machine work I would go there again and have had afew friends get stuff done there too. 781-857-2500 Check them out
