well, the thread "Ohio?" has around 500 posts, so i thought ct has to make atleast a little noise.

Hey Red91.. you ever go to the races in Hartford? Im down there all the time watchin all the ricers lol..
Trending Topics
Yea, I use to run down there years ago before it got bad with my now gone juiced 96 RS. Needless to say, it got real old fast. I've gotten older since then- I'm just going to finish my 88, mabye run it at LVD a few times, defintiely a trip to Lime Rock is in order- otherwise, just a quick street car.
Its gotten really dangerous to race anywhere in CT anymore. All the good places that we use to street race at are now over-run with morons. The last time I raced (mabye 3 years ago) some guy decided to mess around and try to jump in the race up by the airport, when there really is only enough room for 2 cars- not three. Needless to say it scared the hell out of me and I haven't done it since.
Edit: If you do street race, this is a little sobering.

What shows? There's the cruise night at Mustang Mary's on Laurel Hill, the cruise night at the Liberty Bank Plaza every month off Salem Tpke, the monthly cruise night at Nature's Art in Waterford, The cruise night at Ocean Beach, the yearly show at Dodd Stadium, and of course The Frank Marata Car Show now in New Haven. I'm usually at these.
I would have mentioned the weekly show at the top of the Mohegan Sun parking garage, but our cars aren't old enough to enter...

yes all of those and there are a couple of full weekend ones going on. there is one at the plainfeild dog track this year. 2 days with beer, food, trophies, wet t-shirt contest and a whole lot more.its only 25 bux to enter for the both days.
I went to dodd stadium last year. without my car but I was not all that impressed with it. it was better at the norwich tech school.
