ct emissions

with ct do you have to pass emissions or just go and get tested to get your car registrered? I am not sure if I am going to pass or not and I don't want to run out of time on my temp tags before I pass. thanks

edit: found it

Brett - drop the cammed car down to empty - drop a gallon of denatured alchol in there, add 4-5 gallons of gas - this will make an approx. 25-30% alchol content - not enough to bother anything in the fuel system so long as you fill up and don't let it sit in there for more than a day.

my car passed with a 520/540 lift cam, 236/242 (050) 110lsa cam... and no cats!!! you should fair a little better because you have a little less overlap...
this is over on CTFBA when a guy asked bout his car. same for u tho

its cheaper for him to do this then spend the 600$ minium to get the car to pass. car runs fine, just do not leave it in there longer then a day. u can get it at lowes, home depot wal-mart wherever

who said anything about fixing it? My cat turned out to be gutted, and i did put a dual cat flowmaster in, but not for emissions.
