Looking for 91/92 Black Bird...
Whats up guys? I'll try to be brief here. I'm looking for a BLACK 91 or 92 Firebird with t-tops and a V8. I know i'm being a little specific here, but it's a project I've wanted to do for years and I'm getting to the point now where I have the time and money to do the everything right. (LS1 engine, tranny, rear, basically a full restore) I'd be opened to a v6 but from what i've read, i'm better off starting with a v8 for the mods I want to do. Anyway, I live in southeastern Pa so I'm looking for something fairly local which is why I started in this forum. I've been in contact with bottlebird68 about his 92 for sale up in MA, and while I'd be willing to drive that far for the right car, I want to see what else is out there first. If you know somebody who has what i'm looking for and they're will to sell.... let me know. If they're not willing to sell, let me know anyway so I can convince them.
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys. hey man i work at a car auction in the md/dc area and we have a black firebird that is going to go up to auction soon. I do believe it is a black t-top auto bird. It's got a cowl hood on it, unsure of the motor or how it runs though. but if your interested i will be more than willing to give it a better look over for you. shoot me a pm or a email and we can chat more
Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. About a month ago I found a really clean 92 Black Bird with 63,000 miles on it so I am no longer looking for one. I got lucky, the guy was the original owner and all. Anyway, thanks for keeping me in mind. Just out of curiosity, did you find out anymore info on the car? Year, mileage, engine? I could always use a parts car.
hey man no problem about taking a bit to reply to this post, I actually forgot about it myself. I did find out alittle bit more about the car. It is infact a hardtop blue auto firebird. It's in a pretty beat up shape right now. I believe the driver fender and rear quarter have dents, along with a busted driver tail light. I'm unsure of what size motor is in it, but it has been dressed up with some edelbrock valve covers, big air cleaner and some of the shiny tubing with the red and blue fittings. No NOS, I have yet to get it to run though, I think the starter is sticking everytime I try to turn it over, but it does not sound like the starter, so it's kind of fooling me. oh and the driver side rear wheel could use some air. sorry I never even bothered to find out what year it is either.
