Any of you guys ever try an Auto-x?
Any of you guys ever try an Auto-x?
I race pretty consistently with the Fairfield Connecticut Sports Car Club (www.fcscc.com) and occasionally with the Connecticut Autocross and Rally Team (www.cart.com), and I'm always a bit disappointed that I rarely see a thirdgen show up. Anyone who hasn't given it a try, definitely should. It's $20-$30 for the day to get the opportunity to push your car harder than you could ever dream of doing on the street, and is FAR more entertaining than a day at the drag strip (IMO). There's a new lot the Fairfield club is racing at in Plainfield CT that is pretty open and well suited for an F-body.

ive done it once up here in PA. During a nor'easter of all times too. definantly not suited for a rear wheel drive fbody. i did it in my 00 V6 auto bird. it was loads of fun!
