I was home, off work due to an injury. Me and my UPS guy sat on my couch drinking coffee in total disbelief. Then local news stated that the muslims were roiting/partying in the street at thier project a few blocks from my house. UPS guy helped me load up my extra 30's for the AR. He was delivering more ammo that I had ordered. I will never forget.

How would anyone ever forget something that bad. I can still remember the place I was at and standing when it happened.

Driving to my college in Westchester, NY. On the taconic state parkway and burned the hell out of myself with spilled coffee when I heard that the first plane hit the tower. When the second hit they canceled classes, and I raced home to get with my volunteer firefighter unit. Rest of the story is long, but you get the idea. I gave out over 400 bottles of water, and sifted through things I'd rather forget, but won't let myself cause the second you do, they'll hit us again. 9-11-2001, NEVER FORGET.

Was stunned up here in Ontario Canada. I was working in an asphalt plant as a lab tech and our lab window looks out onto the airport. I was also listening to Howard Stern on Q107 and how they, like a lot of people, just assumed it was one of those small Sesnas. I've kept that show, I found it online somewhere as an mp3.
When the first tower fell, the other lab tech and our boss and I were just sitting listening to the radio. Then we went to the bosses folks house and watched. Sad day indeed. It was weird seeing no planes in the sky for such a long time. It's also unfortunate that folks seem to forget the deaths at the pentagon and the other flight that went down in Pennsylvania.
I visited the site in 2002, almost a year later. I post these pictures I took because it reminds me of the families and they are in my thoughts today.
