Look what I bought!!!!

An 85 T/A. Looks like a GTA? Not much on it remains Pontiac but the body itself....so I'm told anyway. "The rear and trans are from an Iroc Z."

The 350 in it is broke. Has lots of go fast parts on it..and it's bored 60 over. It runs...but shakes and knocks badly(spun bearing apparently). I want to replace the block and bottom end with some cheap used one from a junkyard or whatever...and throw all the hotrod top end parts on it. Cam/lifters, intake, headers, carb, distributor.

Anyone have an extra motor lying around? =)

Here are some pics....and a couple nice ones from when I was taking it off the dolly...ouch!

Hey you must be excited! Great looking car! I don't know what it is with those IROC wheels but they make everything look good. If its just a spun bearing I would just take it apart and give a nice rebuild. (gaskets, bearings, hyperutectic pistons, and rings) Should last you a long time and get you around 17-20 mpg. 350's are good motors if you take care of them. And you can always get a forged kit from Summitracing to make it last forever...
Enjoy your car!! I will be Summer soon and you can take your T-tops off and cruise!!
