Help on My Camaro
I live in CT and was looking for other members who would know of any decent shops for thirdgens. I need the following worked on.
Ttop weatherstripping; I have the weatherstripping just need for it to be installed by someone..
Exhaust; looking for headers and ypipe; and someone who can weld up my exhaust nicely.
Just dont know anyone in my region who works on thirdgens and dont want to find someone to think they are just working on another car and has little respect for the vehicle.

Re: Help on My Camaro
Weatherstripping might be hard - do you have original gm or aftermarket? I bought the $450 set aftermarket and while nice did not fit like the gm stuff - ended up doing it myself since no shop around waterbury / hartford would touch it. Came out fine but overall I'm not happy with fit of it all. Looks fine though.
There are a couple of classic restoration shops around - I'm sure they would do a great job for the $$
Exhaust I would go looking for a welding shop - they would probably do a nice job.

Re: Help on My Camaro
With the weatherstripping I got, it was all molded etc but it did not have the molded in plastic mounts that screw into the body and hold everything in place. So on mine I had to very carefully glue it in. If it had the mounting in them it would have been a lot easier.
