Need some help from Mass.

Im moving up to Mass. later this year for 3 months for school and im coming from florida where we have no emissions or safety testing. Do i have to get emissions testing done to my car when i get there even if my permanent address will still be in florida?

Re: Need some help from Mass.

No, the only issue regarding emissions in Mass is when it comes time for an annual inspection sticker. If you lived in Mass though, you would be exempt from emissions, due to the age of the car. Regarding parking your vehicle, if it's driven in Mass more than 30 days, it is required to have Massachusetts insurance. This, unless it is parked on-campus, is enforced in most communities.
