how do i get my 88 camaro to pass? heres my trouble, it was a 2.8 car and it was blown up when i bought it so i put a carbed engine in it and it runs fine however i need to pass emissions in my county were i live now, my old county didnt have emissions....i dont drive the car more than 5000 miles per year, actually i dont know if i even put 500 miles on it per year. i only drive it to work 5 or 6 times a year to work and its only 20 miles round trip and maybe from the begining of summer to the end i go to a car show or 2 locally. could i get a classic plate or atique plate or something like this that wouldnt require an emission sticker....im slowly restoring the car and dont want to quit just because of emissions but at the same time dont want to restore a car i cant drive legally. what can i do?

 

while antique and classic tags don't require an emissions sticker, all the emissions equipment is supposed to be installed and intact. Do you swap all the emissions equipment over when you did the motor swap?

 

didnt transfer any emission parts over.
