June 20-21 and is celebrating 40 years of IROC with special car displays and guest speakers. Anybody going to the event? I went last year and thinking about going again this year.
I’m taking a break from drag racing the car for a month or so and as an alternative I plan to go to this Carlisle GM nationals event and hopefully also get to the Camaro Nationals in July
so, I should be there. Registered the car a week ago, but it was too late to put it in the display, so I’ll be in the show field group of thirdgens
I'm on the fence. Busy few weeks for me. Weather looks good though. I'd have to drive Friday and then leave Sunday morning. Anyone going to be around Friday night and up for some food and drinks?
I went in 2022 for the 40th anniversary of the 3rd gens. This year I registered 2 cars when registration first opened. Unfortunately, I will be missing this year.
Last minute decision but deciding on going. Will be hot again this year! Bringing my pop up tent. I'll be parking at row 157, space 595. If anyone is interested in food/drinks Friday or Saturday night, pm me.
The event last weekend was a great time. Weather cooperated by not raining and while hot, was cooler than last year. I heard about 200 thirdgens registered and it showed. Were many cars in several locations, grass fields, thirdgen building and a larger building for low mileage cars. I met some great people again from last years show and some new people this year that drove from Michigan and Vermont. Many great cars either stock, slightly modified or highly modified. Here are some pictures of Saturday, the main day. Surprise picture at very end of a car with thirdgen twist.

Lastly, a Fiero with V8 engine swap and custom fabrication. Engine is rotated 90 degrees from normal position. Also, stock hatch was removed and a thirdgen hatch installed. Really neat car.
Is there or should we set up a WhatsApp group? I was part of a car club in the UK and this was a big thing. Still being a member I'm flooded with photos and pop up drives. Thoroughly enjoy seeing like minded peoples rides
