Earthquake..

Where was everyone when it happened? I had just started up my other car (4 banger contour) and all the cars in the driveway started to shake. I was like wtf is wrong with the car, pretty soon I figured out it was not the car , got out and stood on the lawn while it went on. Pretty crazy

What a RUSH! Whoo hoo!

I was just hanging out with my kids and they were half the excitement as well. They were trippin for a while then were OK.

I'd still take a quake over any other natural disaster. I've been lucky so far!

I like the prior warning of a hurricane but they come every season. Quakes do not happen as often and when their small they are more fun then scary! My .02

This was the first real quake I felt. The only other one was like a 3.2 or something. I loved it. I thought I was drunk or something for a sec, then realized it was a quake and just sat back and enjoyed the ride.....

Well thats good news that they are not every season.

I guess it's what each region is used to.

Hell of a ride though!

I was walking in the parking lot in SLO when it happened, I thought I was a little dizzy till I noticed a car in the parking lot moving around. Thought maybe some kids were in the car shaking it but it was empty, so then I realized it was an EQ. I used to live in L.A. near the desert and have been in many quakes. They don't bother me either.
My mom lives in Paso had a book shelf fall on her during the quake, I had to go to Twin Cities hospital to pick her up and take her home. She's all right just needed a few stitches.

Gabe: are you kidding??????

I was on the 7th floor of my office building when the 6.5 (I think) quake hit. Damn. Some people on the ground didn't feel it, but I can tell you that up on the 7th floor, we were all getting dizzy. The building was rolling back and forth like crazy. Gotta love California.

On a thirdgen related note, my camaro was safely parked on the second story of a parking garage and retained no damage.

Johns car is sweet. Gabe, I like your idea of a GTG. Since I got my new exhaust it's been raining or I've been out of town. It's time for a cruise today. What's everybody doing today?

GTG sounds good, I was gone over the weekend, went to my kids house for Christmas. No plans this weekend though.
