2nd gen forums?

i just bought a 72 firebird 350, and i was curious if any of you guys knew where i could get info and advice on 2nd gens, i live in fresno CA. also i was curious if anyone was able to help me do an engine swap. i can do alot of the work myself, unfortunatly i live in apartments and we are not allowed to work on our vehicles here. and by "am able to do alot of work myself" i mean i can do the actual bolt turning, just so long as i know where the bolts go, i been doing all my own work on my cars so far, and havent really run into anything i couldnt do. any help and or advice is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

Fbody.com is good.

Plus you might want to check out some of your local clubs.

I dont know how close This is to you but check out the ones that are.

Best place for 2nd gen Firebird (and Pontiac in general) is www.classicalpontiac.com

Another good source of Pontiac information (not too much about second gen birds) is Performance Years. I did not like their boards too much, too many a******s.

Good luck with the second gen.

Hi JTM!
A really great second gen Bird site with message boards, is:
http://www.transamcountry.com
Although for all year Birds, they are mostly second gens!
The Trans Am Club of America, Sacto Chapter is a good club, but they lost their message board! That's really too bad (you hear that Dave?)!
Their club hosts the Trans-A-Rama every year! Too bad I moved further away! I enjoyed going to those for years!!!!

Hope this helps,

George

You never know if you join a club. Our Camaro club is always putting ourselves out there to help others in times of need (for small fees of course that normally end up being pizza & beer lol))
