Anyone interested of getting their 700R-4 rebuilt as a x-mas present to yourself?
Shift kit can also be intalled. Give me a call for more info. If anyone is interested, I have a TCI built 700R-4 non lock-up with 10" Art Carr TC 2400 stall. Cheap!!!!

Which one are you referring to? The TCI unit or getting your tranny rebuild? Well, anyways I'll let the TCI with the Art Carr TC go for $1200 Trans only have 500 miles on it and 3 runs at the track. As for the rebuild I still need to find out exactly how much. It might not be cost effective since you have to pay shipping unless you come and pick it up. For sure though, the rebuild will be cheap enough to be worth it driving for to Sacto.

I'm gonna need this sooner or later... getting some bad slippage inbetween gears (2-3 flare-up).
Is this what you do for a living? Elk Grove is kind of far from the Bay Area...

I can remove and replace tranny in my shop but I don't rebuild them myself. However, I know a guy that works at a tranny shop nearby my shop that can rebuild them in my shop at a VERY GOOD price. He has built many 700R-4 and 4L60/4L60E so, experience with these tranny is there. We can remove, rebuild and replace the 700R-4 from $1200-1500 depending on the parts you want installed. I will be getting my trans rebuild this month.

How long does your guy need to do this? Warranty? Again... Elk Grove is a haul for me.
