Well im sorta scared to clear the car, the car was painted around 2 years ago, from what i understand, its made me think twice about clearing the car, IF i can find a decent paint shop, that will take the time to paint the car right, i will talk to them about clearing and stuff, right now, the hole car has to be stripped to bare metal.

$1k or so is a good price, sounds like a good paint job to me, what is the warranty on the paint? Oh, I agree with Steve, put on 3 clear coats to protect your new paint, plus it will shine and last longer. Viper blue is a nice color, I think it would look sweet on a thirdgen, you really can't go wrong with blues on our cars.

Dunno about the warranty, when i go back tomarow for another qote from them, they need to see where my rust is at and such, all ask them, I know i should have asked ealier but, the guy was in the middle of sprayin so... ill ask tomarow Now.. should i get the headlight sockets paited black or go viperblue with them as well? Thing is though... the paint outside.. is that something that i should be worried about at all?

When I repaint my car I am going to keep the headlights black, but that's just me. Some people like it different, you should go with whatever you like better, and I think it will look good no matter what you do. Are you saying they paint the car outside, not in a paint both? If so that is something I would worry about, you will get a bunch of dust and crap in the paint, I wouldn't pay even close to $1k for that kind of paint job.
