well i actually got around to mounting my tach and gauges tonight, as for her running, still doin the same thing so i told this oldtimer and automatically he asked me if i was running a ballast resistor for my ignition (which the instructions tell you to) and im not. He said the coil is only supposed to get 12v at starting after that its lower (dont remember) and the ballast resistor does that. So he said its probably overheating the coil, which makes sence, so i purchased one and it should get here tomorrow. Ill let you know what happens, hopefully hes right. Also bought a new coil to go with it.

sure. its prolly more expensive though to have all the work done, nothing you can do yourself.

what gears do you have now?

Well sure, it's all a matter of money and what you want.

Feel cheap? Weld those spider gears together.

A step up is a spool, but both this and the "Lincoln Locker" are full time posi.

You could buy an aftermarket posi unit for your rear end but those are $$$.

If I was you I would take out your rear and put a posi rear end in from the junkyard. Cheap and easy fix.

What gears do you have? 10 bolt right?

yup will work, with stock exhaust as well. Also worked with my edelbrock TES system and hte larger Y pipe (but it was close). Ill let you have it for 75 bux (less than half price) part # MOR-20182 on summits web site.

Anybody have mallory ignition box that lives near me. I think mine is actually broken i just wanna see if i can use somebody elses to see if that fixes it. Im not getting any voltage to my coil what so ever. If you have one and come by and let me throw it on in (just unplug it at the quick disconnects mines still got all the wiring on) ill let you have it for 50
