update :D
Finally finshed resealing the oil pan today, and NO i did not weld it 
, a little gasget sealant here, a little RTV there, and on it went, Also bought a K&N filter, I was surpised that they made one for the 2.8 
, anywho, with any luck, i wont be breating any more oil smoke
