Drum To Disc Swap

Which one of you guys wants to do it with me, got some discs off an LT1 camaro, lunch n beers on me

i'll come help ya.. but i thought you had a 4th gen 10 bolt? As far as I know every V8 4th gen came with disks, and I'm not sure about sixers, but I've never seen one without disks.

No bro i have a 3rd gen 10 bolt with drums in the rear, kinda stupid of me to get on her like i did with sticky tires at the track with out any c clip retention, plus us 3rd gen guys if we ever want to swap to a 12 bolt/ 9" we cant use our drums, wed either have to have discs in the rear or get a ford drum brake kit for $330. Coulda kept the drums right now and just got c clip eliminators for $150 but might as well get discs since those are an effective method of axle retention and id have to either get discs now (which i did) or get c clip eliminators. Cost me the same but that means i wont have to spend $330 later on down the road. Earlier the better my friend gimme a call either tomorrow or l8r on today.

change of plans, gonna hold off on this till i get the arp wheel studs for my rear axles. Sorry, ill just pull the old ones tomorrow but not gonna put the discs on till i get the new wheel studs.
