No laughing at my brown tint either although there is slight chance the new top will be on by then. Odds are low.

by the way guys.. it drops down to 35-40 degrees at nite there, and there is still snow up there on the hills (not on road but side of it, and no wet roads) so its a great drive up looking at the snow
the weather was about 70-80 yesterday wasn't half bad

Lake level is 6,250 ft.You would have to go to about 9,000 ft. to hit snow.I work a 7,800 and it's gone.It has been around high 70's low 80's.Cheapest gas is at stateline at the 76, it has been going down slowly so who knows, I 'm paying 2.99 here.

It will be June 24th at 5pm for the dinner cruise(no live music) for $50 per adult and $18 per child. The dinner/dance cruise is at 7:30 and is $61 per adult but I figured that may be too much $ for some or too late for the kiddies and people who want to party.

It will still move but not as well as it does now.You lose 5% of your hp for every 1,000 ft.Just ask Travis and harjeet. It won't be a big deal though. All my carbs were fine.

I just booked the Holiday Inn Express for Fri/Sat. night. They are supposed to be about 1 mile from the beach front. We (me, my wife, Camaero, maybe RU QWIK+1, maybe Vexter?) will be leaving Friday mid morning/afternoon, assuming a 5-6 hr. cruise. So I might actually get some good launches w/ the narrow 245's in the rear at that alt.? Cool! You gotta see the glass 1/2 full, right? Daniel U

A few thoughts, questions. ..
1. Do we just pay for the din cruise when we get there Steve?
Thanks for reserving, definitely secure 2 of those spots for me and the gal.
2. Where are we meeting in Tahoe and what time?
I'll probably check into the motel 6 first and be off to wherever you guys say.
I was thinking about leaving Sac around 10am, arriving at noon.
We might not want to wait till 2pm to get started bbq'n, might be too late, lose a spot, pretty close to din, etc.
It's about 95 miles from my house to the motel (approx 2 hours).
I'll only have to fill up once probably to get back, whoOp!
Probably 30-40 miles closer for Travis in Placerville, bastad!
3. Anybody going to be there earlier, setting up, etc?
4. After re-reading the first page, there's like 30+ names up there and I don't see many confirmations with less than 2 weeks to go.
An update is in order and I think you should email the ones that don't get on here often.
5. Why isn't Will going again? I can't read through all these pages.
His first post in here says he's supposed to be helping you get this thing together Travis!
Slackers!
That's all I got for now.

I'm pretty sure me and the wifee will want to do the cruise/dinner, but not 100%. So if it comes down to it, I don't want anyone to hold me a spot if it stops someone else who is 100% sure. Also, thanks for setting this all up. I'm sure it took some time and research to do it all. I hope to have the A/C yanked out by then, and maybe some PROM work to reset the temp. settings on my 2 fans. and fix the richness at cruise/idle.

Well if we're stopping through Placerville for your majesty, we should just have everyone, here and from central, meet there at around 11am on Saturday.

I think in&out is a bad plan
the parking lot is to small. I say meet at the chevron across the street, better yet the kmart parking lot behind it. huge parking lot plus some people may need to get gas by the time they get to sac

As many of you know, I started a new job the Monday after the Central Coast gathering. Unfortunately, it turns out that I will be on call during that entire week and weekend of the Tahoe gathering... which sucks. Not much else to say...

The beach we will be meeting at is Pope beach and I'm sorry but there is a $5 parking fee.
I can't get an address so I will give directions.
You all will be staying east of the beach so to get there from your hotels you will head west(back the way you came)to hwy 89.That intersection is called the Y, you will see signs (hwy 50 left, 89 right).Go right on 89 and the beach is 2 miles down on the right.

am i the only one coming from san francisco? =/
In addition there are many folks coming up from much farther in Central CA as low as Fresno.
You folks coming from below that are serious timekeepers should organize the caravan style, meet at stops along the way and keep adding to the crew as you head north.
By the time y'all make it to Sac to meet up at _____?, you'll add several more and we can go full caravan up to Tahoe.
This takes some organization, so communicate w/each other folks.
