The Camaro is Gone

Well, I sold the Camaro to fund a ZZ4 for my latest project (62 chevy truck). So I am afriad that for the first time in my life sinse i have had a drivers liscence I do not own a Camaro. Dont worry, I will get another one later on down the road.

But here is the cool part.....I put my 87 IROC on craigslist for sale. Within 1 hour I had 6 emails and 2 phone calls on the car. Within 5 hours there was a guy on my door step with cash in hand and the car was sold.

My wife has been trying to sell her grandmothers 70 Mustang on craigslist for about three weeks and it still is sitting in the driveway with for sale signs on it. I have always made fun of my wife about having a Ford on our property (I am not a Ford fan at all). So you can imagine how much fun I have had rubbing it in that my Camaro sold in 5 hours and she cant even get the Mustang to sell at all!!! Just goes to show how much more desirable a beautiful machine like the camaro is over the junk Ford calls a mustang!!!!

What was its condition and how much were you asking?
Good luck on the future project, sorry to lose another 3rd genner.

it was in good condition. Everything stock, no mods at all. Body straight, interior clean, ran great. The only problems with the car was the rear hatch motor went out and the interior headliner was missing. Sold for 2,900 bucks.

I hated to see it go. I have had a couple 4th gens in the past and this was my first third gen and I loved it more than any of the other Camaros I have had. I have had the 62 chevy truck for the last 6 years, but have not been able to work on it due to the Army. But now am back in the home town area (as a recruiter) so the truck needs to finally run.

yeah it sounds like you could've gotten a little over 3 for it.
but what's a few hundred bucks if you just wanted to sell it asap.
